55 mm, 6000 series aluminum Black Max Booms. Designed for the heavies and tallest Optimist sailors, this ultra stiff , lightweight boom can be used without a bridle; this enables the larger sailor to land further forward when tacking.

Made from a high grade, tempered tube. Fitted with captive eye straps, black nylon in and outboard end fittings, nylon outhaul cleat, 4mm Vectran outhaul and bridle, Vectran vang and an outhaul trim gauge.
