Replace your wire halyard with a Rooster Zero or Dyneema version. This specially machined bead has been designed to just take Rooster 2mm zero and if rigged like the image gives a secure lock. The headboard side of your Zero halyard is your choice - shackle or even a a dogbone. Steve used this system now for 8 months with no visible wear in the zero around the bead
